    • Hi Jasmine,
Doostane Farsi Zabane Man is an Iranian-American pen pal program. We are aiming to decrease tension between the United States and Iran by increasing understanding between their citizens. I’m not sure if this is how you found us, but we’re actually based out of Amherst/Uxbridge, MA. We have more information on our “About” page ( and the program is explained a much more comprehensive and thorough way than I just explained it. If you’d like to see some documents, such as our business plan, that better explain our thinking, feel free to ask. We’re always looking for volunteers, so if you’re interested, let us know!

      • Sounds like a great program, I would be honored to volunteer! My father is actually Persian and I had the opportunity to spend two months in Iran this summer to take Farsi class at Tehran U. Please email me at if you guys need any help, I would really love to get involved, seems like you guys are putting a lot of great work into this 🙂
